DYKDDDDK (FLAG® epitope Tag) is an epitope tag that can be fused to either the N- or C-terminus of a protein using recombinant DNA technology. FLAG fusion proteins can be detected and purified by a FLAG-tag specific monoclonal antibody. The DYKDDDDK (FLAG® epitope Tag) contains 8 amino acids, and has a molecular weight of 1.0 KDa.

| Immunofluorescence staining of flag-Tag in 293 cells, transfected with PCMV-CDH1-flag (Figure A), pSTEP2-Flag-FABP4-GST (Figure B), pSTEP2-Flag-ARG1-GST (Figure C) and Flag-PRMT5-His (Figure D) using anti-DYKDDDDK (FLAG® epitope Tag) antibody (Cat: 100233-MM01).
Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with Mouse anti-flag-Tag monoclonal antibody at 37℃ 1 hour. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated Goat Anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).
