Anti-CD31 Antibody (FITC) (Mouse Monoclonal antibody) General Information
Anti-CD31 Antibody (FITC)
Reacts with: Human
Recombinant Human CD31 / PECAM1 protein (Catalog#10148-H08H)
This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human CD31 / PECAM1 (rh CD31 / PECAM1; Catalog#10148-H08H; EAW94208.1; Met 1-Lys 601) and conjugated with FITC under optimum conditions, the unreacted FITC was removed.
Monoclonal Mouse IgG1 Clone #13
Aqueous solution containing 0.5% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide
10 μl/Test, 0.1 mg/ml
This antibody is shipped as liquid solution at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
This antibody can be stored at 2℃-8℃ for twelve months without detectable loss of activity. Protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze ! Sodium azide is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Flush with large volumes of water during disposal.
The Cluster of Differentiation 31 (CD31) adhesion molecule, also known as platelet-endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1 (PECAM-1), is the only known member of the CAM family on platelets. CD31 protein is a 13-kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed by endothelial cells, platelets, monocytes, neutrophils, and certain T cell subsets. CD31 protein is also expressed in certain tumors, including epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, other vascular tumors, and histiocytic malignancies. CD31 plays a key role in removing aged neutrophils and tissue regeneration. CD31 protein mediates the homotypic or heterotypic cell adhesion by binding to itself or the leukocyte integrin αvβ3, and thus plays a role in neutrophil recruitment in inflammatory responses, transendothelial migration of leukocytes, as well as in cardiovascular development.
